A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson Redesign

For my redesign of A Dowry of Blood by S.T. Gibson, I embraced a strictly red and black palette to amplify the novel’s gothic intensity and emotional ferocity. Centering the composition around a stark castle silhouette, I aimed to evoke a sense of dominance, secrecy, and the haunting legacy that shapes the narrator’s journey. The high-contrast colors, paired with sharp, dramatic detailing around the edges, reinforce the story’s themes of desire, power, and liberation. The final design creates a bold, atmospheric cover that immediately signals the book’s dark romanticism.
