For my redesign of The Six Deaths of the Saint by Alix E. Harrow, I shifted the visual tone toward a striking pink palette to subvert traditional fantasy expectations while highlighting the story’s emotional resonance. I incorporated imagery inspired by old paintings, creating a sense of timeless myth and tragic beauty. The cover features female knights, while the back showcases an Ophelia-like figure, echoing the novella’s themes of sacrifice, devotion, and rebirth. The final design blends softness with intensity, offering a fresh yet reverent take on the narrative’s enduring symbolism.
